Polly and Duncan would like to welcome you to the Cèabhar Guesthouse and Restaurant website.  We have recently taken over the business that was formerly trading as ‘The Glassary’

We are located on the West coast of the Isle of Tiree, in the peaceful village of Sandaig. Tiree is situated approximately 60 miles west of the mainland port of Oban on the North West coast of Scotland.

The name we chose for our business (Cèabhar pronounced Kayver) is Hebridian Gaelic word that translates to mean either “A fine breeze” or “a slight state of intoxication” The name still makes us smile, particularly when you are outdoor enthusiasts that appreciate gorgeous unspoilt scenery, a fair sailing wind and good beers, or wines.
