By car, the best route we have found is the route from Stirling (M9), then following the A84 through Callander to meet the A85, then follow this to Oban via Crianlarich. To Take a ferry from Oban to Tiree (Contact Calmac re ferry bookings)

Book early as it can be fully booked very quickly. Once off the ferry, it’s only 8miles from the ferry jetty at Scarinish to Cèabhar, Sandaig
An easy source of route directions can be obtained online from www.multimap.com, by selecting directions from the main screen and entering our postcode of PA77 6XQ as the destination after completing your departure point.
The easiest train route is to get the train to Oban via Glasgow, see www.thetrainline.com
but this needs to connect with the Calmac ferry to Tiree. (Please check the times between arrival & departure as it can involve a long wait in Oban!)
Our Airport has regular flights from Glasgow – Tiree £80 return in the winter, but limited weight allowance (15kg). See www.loganair.co.uk. If you are travelling without a car, it is possible to hire a car from MacLennan Motors, 01879 220555, or book the Dial a Ride bus service 01879 220417 (day times only)
