KITESPORTS
Tiree has been popular with windsurfers for several decades and is becoming increasingly popular with kite sports, both on the water and on the sand. The beaches are ideal for these activities and some of the best beaches are within a couple of miles from Ceabhar. Silver sand and turquoise seas, with beaches all around the island, it doesn’t matter what the wind direction, you will find somewhere to play.
We are both keen kitesurfers and are happy to share information on the various beaches. We stock spares for Ozone and Peter Lynn, and can also sell Ozone kites to order.

DIVING
The underwater world around Tiree is relatively unexplored. The water is crystal clear even in the foulest of weather, and there are numerous wrecks off the coast of Tiree and Coll if you have a boat.
We can provide divers with air bottle refills, and bottles if needed, and drying facilities, as well as a comfortable place to stay and good food and beer. We both dive and have explored a little of the water around the shores of Tiree, so can advise on some dive sites, or boat launch sites, but Tiree offers much more to be explored.
Dive groups who have visited over the past couple of years have brought their own RIBs, but it may be possible to charter a boat with Skippinish sea tours www.skipinnish-sea-tours.co.uk
